Might be a decent way to cash in on existing Xenoblade hype too if released at roughly the same time as one of those. From what I recall they recorded the first game with just English-speaking voice actors that were around in Japan at the time, instead of aiming to get the best they could in the US or UK.Either way, I'd certainly love to get these Baten Kaitos on Steam.
